This is a relatively new type of insurance designed to protect companies' directors, officers and senior managers against claims arising from their decisions and actions whilst managing the business.

If a person fails in any of their duties a claim could arise from Government and Regulatory bodies, Employees, Auditors, Liquidators, Customers or Suppliers. Recent changes in Legislation have led to a number of prosecutions for Corporate Manslaughter, defence costs of which would form part of this cover.

Various limits of indemnity are available starting from £100,000 up to £1,000,000. Higher limits are available if required.
