Tree Surgery and Forestry Public/Products liability insurance covers your legal liability to Third Parties (i.e. non-employees) for either injury or damage to property as a result of negligence arising out of work done or goods supplied in connection with your business.

As a matter of course the policy will cover all activities including the use of herbicides and pesticides and unlike many other policies it would not contain any restrictions on the height at which you work or the way in which felling is carried out.

You will be responsible for the policy excess (first amount payable) for any property damage claim. This is usually £500 but higher excesses are available and will reduce your premium. This section automatically extends to include:

• £1,000 of Personal Accident cover for death of any principal, partner or director aged 16-70.
• DAS Legal Expenses (subject to limitations).

Our standard limits of indemnity are £1,000,000, £2,000,000 or £5,000,000, but higher limits are available on request.
