On 11th June 2008 Lycetts acquired the Marlborough based Bloodstock and Stud Investment Company, which has traded as BASIC Ltd since it was incorporated in 1960.

The BASIC name will continue as a trading name of Lycetts and Hamish Scott-Dalgleish, who founded BASIC Ltd, will continue to run the business as usual from the Marlborough office, assisted as before by Kate Lovelace and Alex Gay.

In addition, Richard Chugg has relocated from Lycetts' London office to bolster the bloodstock broking expertise in the office.
