We are delighted to welcome conditional jockey Charlie Deutsch and Royal Artillery Gold Cup winner Guy Disney in two exciting three-year sponsorship deals.
Riding for Venetia Williams, Deutsch age 22 is considered one of racing’s young rising stars. In his sixth season of riding, he has more than 60 winners over fences to his name. Guy Disney is the first amputee jockey to win a professional race in the UK.
Charlie and Guy are the latest additions to our sponsorship portfolio which already includes East Anglian area jockey George Greenock, Northern area jockey Nick Orpwood and Gloucestershire-based Charlotte Alexander who is currently retraining Silvianco Conti after his retirement from racing.
Lycetts’ ongoing sponsorship deals reflect the company’s support for the racing industry and our dedication to providing specialist support through our equine and bloodstock insurance.
‘Lycetts has been a long-term supporter of racing at all levels and has a great reputation within the racing world. Many of its staff live and breathe racing like I do and I am delighted to be associated with them. I hope to be able to reward their confidence in my ability.’
‘Lycetts has strong links with the armed forces and military charities and we are proud to be sponsoring Guy Disney. It is great to be supporting someone who has done so much to overcome adversity. He is an inspiration to others who have experienced similar challenges. He’s also a great man and a damn good jockey.’
