We Know Marine Insurance

There are fewer ripples when using our marine specialists.

At Lycetts, we understand that you want to have fun in your vessel and steer clear of the boring paperwork that marine insurance can bring. That’s why we use a specialist panel of insurers to ensure that we provide you with the best possible terms, all of which include third-party liability cover.

Whether it’s a dinghy, sail boat, yacht, powerboat, canal boat, or private craft you need to insure, we can provide you with comprehensive cover up to the value of £8 million. Key aspects of the insurance include:
• All-risks cover.
• Up to £3 million third-party liability for owners and guests, depending on your needs.
• Cover for dinghies, tenders and their outboard motors up to £2,500*.
• Cover for personal effects up to £4,000 can automatically be included, depending on the class of vessel & cover required.
• Personal accident cover for owner and guests up to an aggregate of £150,000.
• Cyber cover for loss to electronic navigation and self-steering equipment resulting from malicious code or unauthorised use.
• Up to 25% protected no-claims discount.
• Multi-vessel discounts available.
• Cover available for vessels up to £8 million in value (€10 million/$10 million)*.

* Higher limits available on request.

"We prefer to be a little more hands on when it comes to keeping you aboard your yachts and small crafts. It just makes more sense to know everything, rather than just assume!'
