Amy Goldsbrough named Young Broker of the Year

Since joining us as a trainee underwriter, she has shown unwavering commitment to professional development, a natural flair for collaboration and a genuine desire to support others.

Amy has consistently gone above and beyond to improve how we work. Her initiative, empathy and technical knowledge have made a lasting impact, not just within her team, but across the wider business.

Alongside her underwriting achievements, Amy has mentored colleagues, supported recruitment and contributed to outreach work through The Girls’ Network. She has also progressed her counselling training with plans to volunteer in this space, further demonstrating her drive to make a difference both inside and outside the profession.

The award – part of the annual UK Broker Awards programme hosted by Insurance Age – not only celebrates Amy’s achievements, but also highlights the kind of talent, growth and development that thrive at Lycetts.
