Pink & Blue Day – Supporting the Together Forever Trust

In a moving tribute of solidarity and remembrance, the Newcastle office, led by Hannah Routledge,  joined together wearing pink and blue in support of the Chloe & Liam Together Forever Trust.

The 22^nd May marks the anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack, in which two of Hannah’s friends and former colleagues from her time at the Hilton lost their lives. The Hilton hotel, just visible in the background of the photo, serves as a poignant reminder of those connections. In honour of Chloe and Liam, their families have named this day “Pink & Blue Day”, encouraging acts of remembrance and support for the charity that carries their legacy forward.

The Together Forever Trust was established to celebrate the lives of Chloe and Liam by helping young people pursue their dreams in sport and the performing arts, passions both Chloe and Liam shared. Liam was a dedicated cricketer for Marsden Cricket Club, and Chloe, a talented singer and dancer, aspired to a career in performance.

To date, the Trust has supported over 800 young people, offering grants, opportunities, and inspiration to help them achieve their ambitions. Their success stories and ongoing efforts continue to build a legacy that reflects the spirit and potential of Chloe and Liam.

We are proud that Benefact has already contributed around £400 to the Trust (charity number 1178806) through our My Giving scheme, with more to follow later this year. The families have expressed heartfelt thanks for every donation received. Additionally, the Trust has been an active supporter of Benefact’s Movement for Good, regularly sharing details of our special draws with their wider community throughout the year.
