Lycetts raises more than £48,000 for charity

February 14th 2018

Lycetts has continued its support for charitable causes, raising in excess of £48,000 over the last 12 months. Throughout 2017, we have organised and supported numerous events to raise money for a variety of charities.

These included a charity concert performance by Britain’s Got Talent string quartet Escala, an evening with Captain Guy Disney and a sponsored mistletoe ball.

Every employee also nominated a charity of their choice to receive a £125 donation through MyGiving. The initiative, a staff-led programme run by parent company Ecclesiastical Insurance Group, generated £19,500 for 106 different fundraising organisations.

Giving back to our communities is at the heart of Lycetts’ culture and ethos. Not only do all of our available profits go to our charitable owner, which in turn invests them back into the community, but our staff fully embrace the business’s philanthropic approach to giving back to those in need.

We are delighted to have once again made a difference and aim to raise even more for charity during 2018. Those supported have included Walking with the Wounded, Parkinson’s UK, the Percy Hedley Foundation and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.
