New appointment for Lycetts Shrewsbury office

Rob Matthews now heads our Shrewsbury branch, where he succeeds Philip Rogers-Coltman who set up the office in 2010, having joined Lycetts in 2003. Philip will remain with the Lycetts Shrewsbury office as a part-time consultant until the autumn.

Rob’s career in the insurance industry spans over 30 years, during the course of which he has always been involved with agriculture, and that is very much where his interest and expertise predominantly lies.

After the best part of three decades working for a well known farming association he latterly worked at a loss adjusters where he gained a thorough understanding of the products available in the insurance market. As such, Rob would like to think that there is very little related to farming, estates or property on which he couldn’t offer advice.

A country boy at heart, he lives in Much Wenlock, Rob understands the needs and concerns of farms and property owners alike, but is equally well placed to advise on the broad range of private client products available through Lycetts.

At the Lycetts Shrewsbury office, Rob will be assisted by Allison Heyes, who has worked with Philip since joining Lycetts in April 2012 and who enjoys a first class relationship with the Shrewsbury office client base.

All at Lycetts wish Philip well for his future role running the family farm, and notably its Jersey herd. His legacy will long live on at the office he established from scratch in Shrewsbury and within the client base he has developed over the last 13 years.
